University Moments I Wish to Never Forget
It baffles me when I think about how my first year is almost over. It feels like only yesterday that I first walked into my flat and didn't know what to do with myself, just surrounded by boxes filled with my life, ready to start a new chapter. So, as my first year of university draws to an end I decided to reflect on this past year through pictures of my favourite moments, people and days I hope to never forget.
This image is the most recent one. We surprised Harry with a little visit from his sister, as much as he hates surprises this one was worth it. It was a lovely few days of drinks, laughter, chats, dinners and shopping. We had lovely weather and felt like we were on holiday! Plus this picture and it's cuteness never fails to make me smile!
This was the night we went on a bar crawl. We drunk a crap ton of cocktails and got quite tipsy. It was full of laughter, PDA moments, a broken glass, an uneaten dominoes and memories I never wish to forget. This was my favourite nights in York by far, spent with some of my fave people. Top tip- If you're ever in York you must visit Evil Eye, it's the coolest bar in York!
This was the night we commiserated/celebrated Anna leaving uni with a traditional Spoons night out. We shared 2 pitchers and were non stop giggling. All the nights we went out to spoons have been hilarious and filled with inside jokes and stories! As grotty, common and basic as Wetherspoons is it is still one of my fave chilled nights out. One pitcher, one straw please!
Halloween 2016. I embraced my laziness and basicness and went as a cat, yes I was one of those girls. We went clubbing, which as usual I left early and then went to meet Harry at 1am. This part of the night is my all time favourite moment of university and one I will never forget. It was so sweet and spontaneous, and occurred right at the beginning of our relationship. It's one of those moments I wish I could relive. Moments like these and also our many adorable date nights, such as Turtle Bay, Jamie's and Slug and Lettuce, have been super lovely!
The time that Loren came to visit, sorry Lorn had no other pictures of this weekend. This was one of the biggest fails of a night out due to being ditched by everyone and dramas but it was still hilarious with takeaways that almost killed us, shopping, Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Christmas music, gossip, 'the Yorkshire moon' and constant laughter and happiness. I can't wait for next year for Loren to come visit again and maybe this time we will actually get a decent photo. Much love xoxo
There's been up and downs, tears, nerves, stress, laughter, dramas, smiles and a hell of a lot of new experiences. I wouldn't change my first year experience and I'm glad it has happened the way it has.
Im excited yet nervous for what year 2 will bring, but if its anything like this past year then bring it on.
